Democracy for America and the Democratic Party of Wisconsin invite you to join us for an action-packed morning full of brainstorming and networking as we plan to build the county parties we need to take back western Wisconsin in 2014. This is a strategy/training event. It will be held Saturday, July 20, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. – Noon at the Northwest United Educators building, 16 West John St., Rice Lake, WI 54868.

This workshop is designed to address many of the common challenges local organizations face - and then to help you write a concrete plan to get past them. Karli Wallace, the Midwest Regional Organizer for DFA and local DPW Regional Political Director Jeff Smith will be on hand to teach you some tricks of the trade, to share tactics other organizations have used successfully and to brainstorm with you ways to make your local party bigger and better. Several county parties are participating - including Polk, Barron, Burnett, Washburn and St. Croix - so you'll have the chance to meet and share ideas with other Democrats from across the region.

We will be kicking things off at 9:00 a.m. and should be finished by noon. Coffee and rolls will be available. Get in on the ground floor and be part of the team that writes the plan that helps us win big in 2014. Don't get left behind!  Expect this to be a fun workgroup session.
